LOL @ I can't seem to go anywhere without seeing a Porsche. Everytime I go to the bay area I probably see at least 20 different ones, majority being Boxsters(6:4), but still a lot of 911's Oh me too, even today I saw some Boxsters, a 997 C4 and a 996 Turbo, however GT3s or 2s are harder to spot. But the most exciting car I saw today was a Lamborghini Murciélago.

In California, (my area anyway: San Diego), an RX-7 is a good find. I have never seen a Skyline in my life, save for the one at the Drift event at the Champ Car Long Beach Grand Prix a few years back. It sounds funny, but it's true. On the other hand, Maseratis , Ferraris and Lotus' are so common, I don't even look anymore. Ok, that's a total lie, but still. I can't help but look. The coolset car I have ever seen was a Koenisegggsegnesigessseeesisgsigsisgisiig.

I've never seen an RX-7. The rarest thing I've seen was a Gallardo. I've also seen a few Ferraris, but then I've driven past a couple Ferrari dealers. I think I have seen a Skyline once in Vegas.

I see a lot of Boxters in my area, as well as Corvettes.
But I almost dropped dead when I went to the parking lot of this one race track (Lime Rock Park, CT) I saw BMWs, Ferraris, (saw a F430, got a vid of it), Lambos, and much, much more.
I laugh at people who say that the 356 is a rebadged VW. although it in a small sense was, there was just so much more to it.

Never seen an RX-7? How does that happen? They aren't exactly rare cars at all.

It is interesting to see how different the cars are in our respective areas. Corvettes are more common than Ford Probes, but those aren't all over the place, either.

I've seen 2 ford probes. one was having it's tranny redone (and Pete claimed it was a real whoor too. Something in the electrical or something.) and the other is a shitwagon.
It's odd, because there isn't a single 89 or higher Rx-7 in town, but there are plenty of older supras.
If this place is good for any cars though, it's older ones. There are a couple of 356's tooling around, plenty of old Detroit muscle. 3 ro 4 studebakers (wooo!) and a few old mercedes too, that I've seen.
Oh, and an Mk1 Golf...with an Audi V6 in it...*drool drool*

Never seen an RX-7? How does that happen? They aren't exactly rare cars at all. Well the only one I saw was at a ricing show and cars like Evos and Imprezas are common over here. It is interesting to see how different the cars are in our respective areas. Corvettes are more common than Ford Probes, but those aren't all over the place, either. I saw a Probe once, which is extremely rare to see here since they're not sold in Europe AFAIK. And I have never seen a Corvette. I saw a Viper tough.

There were only 13,000 or so RX-7s sold in the US and I'm guessing that not many of them made it to Eastern Montana, which is where I've spent most of my life up until this point.
But yeah, I see all sorts of Vettes around here, from the C3 generation to the current C6.
Also, lol at people who are impressed by Ford Probes. Those things are pretty common around here.

They are really crappy, too. In San Diego (where I was up until about a year ago) actually they are everywhere. And you get laughed at if you drive one.
Never seen a Corvette, JV? That's crazy. Down in P.B. there are a lot of those old VW buses. The older 60s ones, not the stupid Vanagon's from the 80s, so I am thinking of picking up one of those, since a really clean, great running model goes for about 400. (oh, and P.B. is a beach here, sorry. I guess you could say I am a surfer dude, as given by the wanting of the bus.)

Yeah I like the ones from the 60s better than the ones from the 70s. Mainly because of the front end. The front comes to that little point, and I like that. Plus, they are more common.

I saw one in particular at the ricing show I mentioned above, it was full of various ink sigs and drawings.
