I have a feeling the mods will let that topic live.
edit: Looks like I was wrong. Either you guys just pwned that topic too hard, or a mod actually deleted it. Maybe it was that one mod who stopped by a while ago, he seemed kinda sane.

The review by that Slick Racer Ass is still up. I kinda expected it to be, since the mods have no way of knowing if we're telling the truth when we say he obviously has no knowledge of cars/mechanics/physics/etc since they don't either.
Still...pretty weak.

I reported it and tore it down point by point, illustrating his lack of logical progression, counter-intuitive claims and general ignorance of racing as a whole. It remains. My "faith" in the intellectual abilities of moderation staff fo teh gheymefagqs is in serious jeopardy.

DeltaMustang65: Mods are not responsible for reviews; the admins accept or reject reviews. If you have a problem with a review, report it through a feedback ticket. Complaining about it anywhere else, even here, isn't going to do anything about it. Besides, if you don't like the review, who cares. It's one guy's opinion, let it go.

Well, if nothing significant isn't being posted in a topic that hasn't had any new posts in for, like, a week or so, it's disruptive. If no one else posted in the topic because there is nothing else to add to it, you can post "bump" but if you want the topic to be bumped up, but what did you post to bump up the topic? If you're posting something stupid, then you're just bumping the topic for no good reason.

If you want to question their intellectual abilities based on something like a dumb modded message or something else, you're waisting way too much time on that site, period. Why do you care if the mods aren't doing what you think they're suppose to be doing? Mods are responsible for marked messages on the boards, that's it; their actions are based on what they feel is the right thing to do in a given situation. Insulting them isn't going to do much justice.

First, I already challenged that deletion for "disruptive posting", not that it'll matter. Second, I can complain about it all I want, although I never said (or expected) complaining to fix anything. I'm just blowing off steam. I'm not sure why that seems to bother you so much.
Oh, and it may be one guy's opinion, but that only makes it more frustrating when something gets deleted. Just because one guy is menstruating all over the place doesn't mean that I should get my posts deleted. Some of them actually take a bit to write.
In this particular topic, there IS something more to add. I asked a question (even though it's a silly stupid Q&A topic) that didn't get an answer. Also, the topic was about to end up on page 2. That's a good reason to bump, combined with the incredible slowness of that board.
I don't think anyone is wasting "too much" time on there. Making that judgement based on us being sick of the mods and admins ways is faulty. Anyone would be upset on ANY message board if their posts kept getting deleted for questionable reasons. The fact that known and BLATANT trolls get away with anything, even when we all MARK them, only compounds the problem.
Oh, and unless CJayC is actually Stalin, we can complain and insult all we want. I know that by signing up in GF, we lose all kinds of rights, but we still LIVE in a democracy in real life. Also, since when did anyone from GF care about justice???

I thought it was kinda shitty he decides to come on this site to explain the bullshit TOS rules. I assume that by coming here to explain it, he most likely is the mod who recieved the moderation request, or your contest of the moderation.
