Dang, that is a hard one. Here's my best: Big bang makes it impossible for multiverse?

big bang actually only happened in one universe, unless all are considered parallel.

Actually, the multiverse theory claims that the big bang happened simultaneously in infinitely many universes. In fact, there are infinitely many universes that would be exactly the same as ours, but they always have the possibility of branching. For example, there's a universe that's exactly the same as ours, the only difference being that you forgot to brush your teeth this morning or you decided to have oatmeal instead of cereal, etc. etc.
I should really temper that previous paragraph: The chances are extremely high that all of that is true, assuming there are infinite universes. It's likely that there are infinite universes where the big bang occurred and infinitely many where it didn't, or where it occurred ten minutes earlier, etc. etc.
Infinity is really really big.

Well, if the Big Crunch Theory holds true: Big Crunch > all

This theory is way far fetched.... I remember seeing something about it on teh History channel and other places. Actually if you like reading books I would suggest Timeline which is a book based of of this theory iirc. Either way it's a good read.

Actually, I have read Timeline. A couple times in fact.
It's really too bad Michael Crichton passed away. He wrote some really interesting stuff (and really good) stuff. What I loved about it was that he wrote very good stories with real scientific backing. And the science-y stuff was so well explained that it was incredibly easy to understand and it fit into the story.
