"Fastest possible times" is a relative term on the Ring. In the diaries, it's not so much a competition with each other as a competition with one's self. The WR is pretty much what you've suggested. Each of us has run very many cars, each of us coming up with our own best times. Individual improvement is encouraged and applauded.
Anyway, you've got the ball, amemyarz. The Weekend Rider is yours!

yay! well I know it isn't a competition but I really want to do this. +It'll be a great addition to the 'Ring diares. Oh and I have my time 7'49'975 I just love the supra. It shifts very fast and it handles better than a 350z. It will always have a special place in my heart.

I also love the styling of it. It is very wide with seductive curves.

Well I gave th3 supra an oil change, racing chip, and sport suspension and retried. I got 7'47.768 All the little shortcomings of the supra were almost completely gone. It gripped better when going over huge bumps and it had the extra power to shake things up.

Disregard my last post, I was responding to something a page back *sheepish grin*
Supra. OK. Got it. This one has always been one of my favorite Japanese cars.

Honda S2000 type V ’03 Weekend Rider™Nice Car, handles pretty good. Slow steering and a bit pushy, so best to employ the : Set Wide Move Clip Drift, technique. And get organised early. No real vices, first lap run stock not very precise, had a couple of big moments, one a massive lose at Schwedenkreuz. Luckily ended up staying to the right and sliding sideways on the grass ending up at the apex. Very unintentional. Also blew it big time at Plantzgarten. Second lap of two, run all aids off, bit more punch and pretty easy to run it to its limits. Fairly tidy. Stock – 8 ’13 . 886All aids off – 8 ’01 . 199Nice sideways entry to the Karussel

Honda S2000 Racecar Rider™I checked my garage after my runs and saw there are twelve S2000 variants in total. I remember Omicron picked the S2000 LM Racecar a while back and others had used the Opera version, so for variety I decided to try the S2000 GT1 ’04 , more a tuner than a Racecar. With 535 hp ( but only Sport Soft tyres though !) a much more intense and exciting ride. Yeeehah ! Still a good handler , with slow steering and a bit understeery ( must be a S2000 thing ! ). Run Stock – 7 ’05 . 126 TCS @ 1( to stop lighting it up at slow corners ) – 6 ’56 . 545 Plenty more there to get, I reckon, pretty good fun.

SUPER GO KART Budget Rider™OOOps, it looked as if I had left it a bit late to head home. If I was late Mom would be steamed and fixing to paddle my ass. She has been wound a bit tight lately, particularly after Dad just up and vanished a little ways back and would be liable to go right off. So I figured if I could get home in about seven minutes I would probably escape the worst of her mood. Using Jimmy's Opel Speedster replica Kart, I probably had a good shot of making it, that Kart could really move. Jimmy did not mind letting me try and save myself using his pride and joy, because if I was grounded he would have no one to practice with. Driving our Karts was all we lived for. I felt fairly confident as the Kart pumped out 339 hp and only weighed 773 kg after an extensive weight reduction program. Hell, I’d even given up eating Pizza ! The engine was pretty trick boasting a Port & Polish, fully balanced , racing exhaust & chip, stage 3 turbo. To help keep those ponies pointing the right way racing medium tyres and a slick wing had been added. Although only an auto, the tranny was fully customised. The only worry I had was the suspension. Although a full racing version, we had not been able todial it in yet , so it was basically stock. It would have to do. Setting off, my worst fears were confirmed, the suspension was way to stiff for the light weight it had to deal with. The Car was brilliant and went like a cut cat but it was always teetering on the edge of disaster. And disaster there was on more than one occasion. Nothing fatal, but with a couple of spins and going off into the grass and getting jammed up against the fence at one point things were not looking good. They were looking a damn sight worse when I pulled into the drive and there was Mom looking fit to bust a boiler. Awww , I was only 5 seconds late. Dammit. So Mom starts laying into me, verbally and physically, and I thought to myself, “that’s enough of that s**t” and hit Mom in the head with the axe. After I had finished burying her under the chook shed next to Dad ( that will teach him to cancel my allowance ! ) I decided to play around with the suspension then hoon back to Jimmy's. Much , much better. Got back in 6 ‘ 55 . 887 without hardly even trying. Softening up the springs and dampers, downforce @ 27 / 30 all aids off and ballast at –20 was definitely heading in the right direction. At least now I had plenty of time to work at it.

Real bold choice going with the ax to the head. I didn't see that one coming. LOL great!

There are many ways to go about KILLING THEM WHERE THEY STAND™, so the Direct Approach® is always good for a few laughs!
I wish I had paid more attention to the GoKart Rider and such. My mistake.
