Toyota Supra Weekend Rider
First off, I like FR drivetrains and I like cars with more than 300 hp. This car has both. Me=Happy Boy.
My first impression was of adequate acceleration. Nothing spectacular, not going to plant you into the back of the seat with the force of the space shuttle lifting off, but adequate, especially considering I only paid 15,000 credits for this car. The back end tried coming around on me once or twice under hard braking, which is something I'd expect more from an MR. The suspension seemed a little floaty, which made steering response lax and made a couple of the high speed kinks exciting. I attribute this flaw to the fact that it REALLY needs a chassis refresh, but I wasn't about to spend 50 grand on a 15 grand car that I was only going to drive once. Other than the chassis problem, it seemed the handling was fairly decent. It stuck to the road for the most part, but with a little bit of excess body roll.
I was a little rusty going in, seeing as I hadn't touched GT4 for about a week before doing this WR. That fact and the floppy chassis made my times a little slow, around 7'50.
