Just started working here. I didn't read the entire thread,
but just the first 7 pages so far. I think after reading those pages, I
think I'm going to give the Ring another chance...Because as of right now
the only long circuit I love is Circuit de la Sarthe (version 1 a tiny bit
more than version 2)...that is after my B-spec wins the 24 hours there.
About 1:15 to go!

You know what I just heard that sucks - if you want to play Gamecube
games, you have to buy a Gamecube. -unknown person (that's his screenname)

Sorry I've not posted recently- in fact I haven't been on the forums much.
I have been travelling extensively across the US of late for work, and
have not played a lick of GT4. I brought my PS2, but GT4 isn't a good
travel game. I far prefer more action/ adventure type games when I'm at
the hotel.
As such, I have played alot of God Of War, and also recently a newer game
called Okami (which is an unbelievable game IMO ).
Anyhow, I'm back settled again, at least for a couple of weeks. Not sure
when GT4 will get back in for play.

Well that makes 10. I knew this thread wasn't as dead as it
has appeared lately.
BTW, for those who are wondering, the price for the Porsche has been
negotiated down to $71,000. I think it will be a "done deal" soon. I told
him the general opinion of the Ringers was to go this way, which carried a
reasonable amount of weight in his decision-making. If/when it gets here
from AZ, I'll get some pics and post them somewhere.

That Porsche is all-wheel-drive. Does anyone know if the front wheels can
be disengaged so that it can become rear-wheel-drive only? I've never done
any real-life high-performance driving in a AWD. I guess it's never too
late to learn, but I'd much prefer playing in a RWD.

I tend to check up, usually don't post since I haven't had
the urge to play recently.

I'm here most every day. I haven't played GT in months,
though, so I don't have much to say anymore. Plus the rest of the boards
have been getting a bit stupid of late, so I tend to avoid logging on to
avoid turning into a troll.
Damn do some of these kids need to be smacked around, though...
