boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=933036&topic=42967866LOL, a 120+ post topic over a 2/10 review for GTA4. Everyone has their own opinions, why make a huge deal out of it? Just because you think something is perfect and someone else thinks its crap doesn't mean you should argue with them endlessly about it. To each their own.

I hate it when people argue about what music is what genre. Fun Fact of the Day: genre doesn't MATTER. Listen to what you damn well please.
Also, it bothers me when people put down other people's music simply because they don't like it. I used to do it all the time (specifically with rap), but I've since realized it won't change anything and is mostly stupid. I like what I like about my music and it's unreasonable to assume anything else is true with you.

If there is one musical taste issue that pisses me off, it's that most rockers seem to think rap=non music. This is particularly true of those death metal bastards.
Oh really? So your shithead band screaming like a freakin retard into a mic with thrash guitar in the background is more music than my rapper rhyming over a beat in a continuous fashion, never breaking pace.
Yes, that death metal sure is more music. Hooah.
other than that, listen to what you wish. just don't make me listen to it, haha.

The disputes over the sub-genres of emo is pretty funny though. They all sound the same, but don't want to be labeled the same because they're all so.... "different".
btw- anyone see any of the topics about the 2/10 review for GTA4? Tons of LOLarity if you missed them. They keep getting deleted after 100 posts.

the thing is guys, we all hated the unfounded review of GT4 that was totally off base. If this is the same case, a review that is an obvious troll attempt, or waaaaaay off base for the game, they have as much right as we did to say "this isn't right" EDIT: If this isn't a topic of extreme LOL, nothing is! forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=572377

^ I did consider the controversy with the GT4 review. There is a rather large difference between the two. The review for GT4 was written by a kid who has obviously never driven a car and was reviewing the game as if it was marketed as a Mario Kart style game. This GTA review, although very harsh in it's rating, does actually have a few good points about the repetitive gameplay and the lack of need for money. He does however focus a bit too much on the money aspect of the game. As for all the guys arguing with him, they all think it's the greatest game ever. It really isn't. I like Uncharted for PS3 better even though it's a much shorter game. I liked SA better as far as the GTA series goes. And like I mentioned in my post, I thought Borat was a shit movie, the Lost tv show really isn't very intriguing to me, and 24, I know Matt loves that show, isn't very interesting to me either. That's just imo though.

LOL @ the guy that doesn't know about birth control. He really shouldn't be having sex in the first place, I guess.
Also, 24 is a show best watched on dvd. Having to wait a week for the next episode sucks.

meh. never was much for the "Invincible agent" BS. James bond is just as much Shite. as are most of them.

James Bond =/= Jack Bauer.
Bond is basically the secret agent fantasy stuff. If you go in expecting something else, well, what can I say.
In 24, people drop like flies. Jack is even tortured until his heart stops at one point in season 2, but his torturers are able to revive him (how lucky). And at least they tried something different with the format, instead of the rest of the cookie cutter crap that's on tv these days.

He is still invincible, it seems. Bond is just more extreme in that fact. I hate shows where that happens. You had to knwo the guy wasn't gonna die anyway. It just doesn't seem believable to me.
Hence why i stick to UFC, racing, and SWAT/DEA most days.

Yeah, um...if the main character died, you wouldn't have a show anymore.

You could have a different character take over the central role. Few shows have pulled it off, however.

24 is definitely unique in its presentation and that way it delivers the plot. It's fairly creative in a market that's overrun with crap like Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader or The Simple Life (and that's just without leaving Fox).
I've always liked Bond flicks. You know he won't die, but it's still interesting to see how he survives. Plus you have to admit that the most recent Bond flick (Casino Royale) was a lot less predictable due to the fact that *GIANT SPOILERS*
his GF is working for someone else and dies at the end.

Yeah, I personally think you can't go wrong with Bond movies, as long as you know and are at peace with what you're watching. The new Bond movies have definitely succeeded in breaking the old mold, but they're still kick ass.
Although I find it odd that Meg still doesn't care for them, especially after that whole scene with Daniel Craig (the new Bond) getting out of the water at the beach with his sexeh bodeh. I was secretly keeping an eye on Meg to try to catch a response, but if she had one, she was damn good at hiding it.
