because sadly, Vector was an economic failure.

But if the recent prototype meets expectations and Weigart can actually find the finances to put it into production, they may actually be able to turn a profit this time around. This is highly unlikely given the track record, but still possible.

This is highly unlikely given the track record, but still possible. Isn't this just the story of Vector, though? This happens every time. There are expectations, funding isn't there, and then they don't meet expectations. I tell you what, I'm not confident in their success in the near future.

they've always been really on the cusp of being there, but something always happens, the funds run out, and they end up being lik e"oh, oh fuck, we'll be back" and the cycle continues.

It's too bad Vector never did very well. They made some REALLY awesome cars! Since we're talking about Vector: *drools* Man, that is F***ING SWEEEEET! Sweetness, baby, yeah! Anyone remember the Vectors from Gran Turismo 2?

Anyone remember the Vectors from Gran Turismo 2? Hell, yeah! I once played with the gear ratios on the W8 and had it up to 260 on the test track, and the craziest part was that is was still manageable on most of the courses with that gearing.

I love Vector. It's just a shame that they never seem to be able to break the market. And No one will pick them up either. It's a crying shame. The only thing I'm no fan of is that some of their models seem to have Swiss cheese for body work.
