Wouldn't you rather have the love and admiration of a nation of hardworking, trustworthy Northerners than the petty gifts some bonehead American can distribute to you over the internet? I know what I would rather have.

I can't believe I forgot about the old forum. Good to see the old girl's still running. Let's see, in my absence, I FINALLY got full-time working hours working so I actually have some kind of an income. It only took me 2 years, but I won't complain, especially considering I live in a relatively poor area. The old Buick blew a brake line and is still waiting for that repair. Shame it's just sitting, that old girl served me quite well. Gotta love the toughness of the 3.3. It's been in need of a tune up for a couple years, been late on multiple oil changes, got literally buried in the snow a couple years back (some of you might remember me posting about that), overheated twice (first was because of a dead fan motor, the second was a seized water pump that threw off the serpentine belt) and then sat for about two months. All that and it still starts right up and runs. We'll get her on the road again just as soon as we can find a "safe" way to do the job. We gotta lift her (shocks are shot, so it sits about two inches off the ground ) and we don't have that capability...yet. Mainly because I was interested in getting a second car, I bought my sister's Honda Accord (yes, a HONDA ) a while back. It didn't have a muffler and it was obscenely loud (yes, I was quite embarrassed...) but I drove it for two months like that before finally getting pulled over for it. We got a cheap aftermarket one, put it on and that did the trick. Doesn't sound half bad either. The car has ~254,000 miles and still runs quite good. The engine could do with a tune up, but is surprisingly spirited for its age. Not saying it's fast (it's not) but it's fast enough for a daily driver. The handling, however, is sweet. About a month ago, some guys tried racing me in a Ford Aspire. A friggin Aspire of all things. I was leaving work and I was following this beater Aspire. We come up to a stop sign and I was a ways back, but they sat there for at least several seconds. I pull up behind them, and they sit there for another few seconds. Now, it was midnight and I was tired and quite irritable, so I get ready to honk my horn when suddenly they rev up the engine and take off in probably the most epic launch I've ever seen. They must've hit 30 in 6.5 seconds or some crazy crap like that, man they flew. Okay no, they didn't, actually I laughed my ass off at their pathetic attempt to be fast. I was tempted to race them just to show them how stupid they were, but one, they were heading into the city. City racing = big no no. And two, I wasn't going into the city, I was taking the back road to the right of the intersection we were at and I wasn't in any mood to, shall we say, take a detour. I did get quite the laugh though because, I mean, who the hell races a 70 horsepower econobox? The funniest thing of all was the very next day as I was taking an on-ramp onto the highway after a grocery run that very same Aspire comes zooming up behind me. Well, they tried to anyway, but that particular on-ramp has a rather steep incline, so I'm picking up speed going uphill (not even trying to go fast) and they start falling behind. To be honest, I was surprised that thing even made it up that hill espeically considering there were two guys in it. If it wasn't for the steep DOWNHILL after the crest, they probably wouldn't have been doing 45 when they merged onto the highway. As long as we're talking about cars, I've seen a Lotus Exige, several Corvettes, a Viper, a few 1960s-70s Novas, an F-Body with a really sweet sounding exhaust, a 1969 Mustang Mach 1, some kind of Ferrari (couldn't tell what exactly it was since we were going opposite directions on the highway, but it was definitely a Ferrari) and a few other kickass cars. Funny thing is, like I said, the county I live in is quite poor, yet you see some pretty sweet cars driving around. Go figure. TL;DR, I got full-time hours, now drive a Honda and have seem some nice cars over the months.

Nice, I will be looking forward to that And actually today I saw something I didn't though I would see here in Lisbon (a Corvette C6), even though recently I'm seeing a DBS (or DB9 not sure) a lot of times and almost was run over by a Elise some months ago (I was walking nearly asleep...). And ya I still breath... GT5 is close to the release date, so I'm dropping by to say hi, and to drop my PSN ID for those of you that may want to add me and didn't yet. PSN ID: Han_the_Dragon Ya, really original... lol I don't know when I will show up again, but I will be always contactable at PSN (well I may take a while to replay, since I only get access to my PS3 at the weekends, but from what I have heard it seams like B-spec will be playable through a computer, so I'm looking forward to see how it works), GameSpot (PMs and GT Union and PS3 Exclusive Union), GameFAQs (some RPG boards, as well as GT4 and 5, not really the best place to talk though...), GTPlanet (again PM, and some forums...), and PS3trophies.org (PM only, since I rarely frequent the forums and use it more like a database for when I'm hunting trophies, though, I don't buy games for trophies, but still something nice to collect and give a bit extra lifespan for most games). See you guys around.
