I've played the online. surprisingly, it reminds me alot of Mag. in a good way.
still a ton of camping, and compared to mag it feels a little uninspired, but i think it's actually a step in the rigfht direction.
compaign is campaign, zombies is all anyone cares about, yadda yadda.

I've been calling it "call of doody" for some time now. I know it's a groaner, but I can't help myself. It seems like they put these games out at the same rate I take a dump.

pretty close. the nxt 2 games were confirmed as coon as black ops dropped.
guess it's kinda like a civic. people are dumb enough to buy it, they are smart enough to sell it.

A Civic has some redeeming features, though. It's reliable, gets good gas mileage, isn't terrible to drive, is (arguable) not too hard on the eyes... CoD comes out once a year, throws some controversial situation into the stupid-short singleplayer campaign, throws together some unbalanced multiplayer, and couple it with "realistic"-performing weapons that GREATLY reduce recoil which results in gameplay that's pretty damn easy and people buy it because everyone else is buying it.

Exactly. Now that I've actually used guns IRL, I can appreciate just how much they fake the amount of recoil in video games.

Halo 1 and 2 were the only great halo games imo. After that it went downhill hardcore. in terms of both campaign and multiplayer.

Killzone 3 anyone?
picked it up today for 17 bucks off of a 3 game tradein (2 subpar motoGP games, and R&C a Crack in Time.) haven't played yet, but I hear it's pretty damned sweet with the move assault rifle.
