sorry to ruin your brigade 'Fox. you created this site to spite them. I spite them by not caring, and not leaving. I can withstand 95 warnings before they can ban me, unless i really piss someone off.
I'll take it as far as it can go.
plus, despite all of the more subtle adverting i try, no one comes here. it's mostly slow round here.
I've asked good guys if they want a different board. it's mostly "meh, we'll deal with GF". so yeah.

Gamefaqs will never stop sucking. That's why I created these boards, use them instead of hoping for GF to get better. It bothers me sometimes when GTF complains about gamefaqs, I've learned to stop caring a long time ago. My last stand on that site was on the night where a bunch of us made DRZ impersonations and went to town, and I personally hope to keep it that way. Ah, memories... Speaking of, that was also the day my original account was banned due to "impersonation" or some such nonsense. Effing babies.

I remember those, actually. DRZ_Maternal and DRZ_Paternal, right?

Yeah, there were a bunch of them. Mine was DRZ_PERS0N. With a zero.

oh you kidders! heh
on a side note, I don't even know if I want to help Seoul with his Faq anymore. the board just keeps degenerating to the point where I don't even wanna post there.

In a couple of months, the short attention span console kiddies that are only interested in winning races as easily as possible will win all the races, get bored, and leave. Trading topics will still probably exist, but people won't be coming in with the begging topics anymore. In time, the people left will be those enthusiasts who appreciate cars and driving, those who realize that there's more to racing than getting the fastest car, who can appreciate the inherent qualities in a car that isn't the absolute fastest. And at that point, it will be like the GT4 board was before we all came here and the recruiting can begin.
Mine was DRZ_McSIVICK or something like that. I can't seem to remember the login credentials anymore, though I think the account is still active...

lol gooder. McSivik.
I really wish we still had a nurburgring diary on GF. I'm an hour and a half into the Ring 4hr with a caterham. holding down an ~10 sec lead over the second car, an Amuse S2000 GT1. bastard is like lightning for the first 3 laps of his stint, but then the next 2 I'm lucky enough that the AI doens't like old tires.
250HP, 400kg Go kart vs 600+hp, 1100kg Tuner machines. such fun. only bad bit is that the Caterham tends to be a little tail happy on braking. I've lost it twice now, once through Hockeichen and once into Aremburg. the lack of downforce also induces a little understeer through high speed bends.
as a tidbit: i drop almost 4 seconds through the Dottinger hohe straight. the little fireblade just doesn't have the top end right now. heh

The current state of the GF board isn't mature enough to be graced with the Ring Diaries just yet. Maybe next year, and then only with the blessing of those long-time caretakers.

Splitting the trading off to a separate board seems like it's helped the quality of the board quite a bit, interestingly.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm marking trading topics on the main board whenever I see them now.

I'll politely say that the trade board is that way: <---- then if it's still up and active, I'll mark it.
