which is why you love it here.
on a more off topic note: Sp[latterhouse. very worth checking out. scored it for 25 bucks the other day, and have been getting a real kick out of it since. "See? it is shit like THAT, that got us an M rating!" *as dude anally impales monster onto spike* "Hey buddy, wanna see what your spine looks like?" *as dude rips upper body off of bad guy* "Look, I'm gettin head!" *said right as dude pulls head off of monster*
it's just hilariously done. love it.

Don't leave us. I've been reading your stuff and it sounds like you want to leave. I would consider myself to be the newest active member and I really love it here. The feeling of community is strong within us because there are so few. I feel like with many forums, they start off as a small group of great people and then they grow, and fewer and fewer people know each other until you get GameFAQs, where hardly anyone knows anyone at all. 3/4 of the times i post on GF, i'll never see those people in the thread again. And that is why i like small forums like this where you know everyone. You get to know the great people who reside here, occasionally albeit, and there's a great sense of community.
The more people that join, the more chances of getting assholes and stuff. If you're going to stop posting here and start posting solely on the gamefaqs GT5 boards, do you think that you'll really get to know anyone well? I personally don't think so. Everyone there comes and goes like the wind.

Sure, we used to have quite the active little community here, but more and more it seems that I'm one of the last few that hasn't moved on, or just plain abandoned the site. I doubt I'll post on GF GT5 much. GTA IV board has a better community of regulars, anyway.

GF GT5 has some regulars, but it seems they're not really enthusiasts. The people that are still around seem more like completionists than anything else. They wouldn't be interested in coming here.
I think it's pretty clear that this place has had its day, but I don't think you need to go deleting your account or your topics or anything like that.

I see that trend as well nightmare. no one wants to do anything for fun. for the pure and simple fun of racing. it's all "I need to do this" "i need this trophy, how?" so on and so forth. I wanna know who gives a shit, really.

Assuming you have not fully lost interest delta, I just wanna remind you that I don't ever have any expectations on you as far as you being a moderator. With the small number of people left I would be stupid to, so really there isn't a reason for which you'd need to reliquish said status. The purpose of your account here is that it will always be here when you want it (if ever), as with the posts you have made and impact they have created.

When was the last time anything at all got modded? It has been quite some time, years even.

I visit now and then but don't really post at all anymore. Had a stint of being very busy with uni and being a Head Admin on a competitive site, quit that job now since I have my 3rd year of uni coming up and I never play GT5 anymore GT5 just doesn't cut it for me anymore since I started playing the PC sims, especially iRacing. As for moderation... I'm still a mod and as 'mare said, it's probably been years since I modded anything. Due to the extremely low traffic and how everyone who posts knows each other and are respectable, moderation isn't required unless any bots break loose.

Flasa: iRacing is way too expensive for my tastes, and with half the tracks being ovals, doesn't appeal much. meh. i'll take LFS or GTR myself.

Hey, guess who!?
Tried logging in on my original account, but I can't seem to remember my old password after all this time, nor what email I used. So, if you're out there Fox, is there some way to reset it?

Sorry for the late reply, I checked out my settings access doesn't extend to your password. I'll email your new email with the old email you used. If none of that works, I can pretty much make your new account into a clone of the old one. E-mail incoming soon!
