The biggest problem I have with the Fiat being used as a mod BR, I doubt any mods actually know what a Fiat is. I'm pretty sure they only drive Jap cars. And it's waayyyy too cool for a mod to drive.

You're probably right, cisco. It IS a little too cool for a mod.
I thought the low stock performance (and indeed the low fully-tuned performance) fit the mods perfectly. They think that since it has a boatload of mods, it would beat everything ever created, even though it would lose to pretty much everything.

Rotary, I already know how CotY is awarded. I called up one year and asked for the current bid. I think it was at 2 billion or so. They take cash under the table so they can't be called on it later. A Fiat also out handles the usual Mod car, and has more power than they're used to. But it was funny. You just forgot the horribly offset rims that stick out a foot away from the car, for traction. And I guess GT4 won't let you put a park bench on it, for downforce.  |

What I'm going to post shows how partial the mods are:
According to the topic for sticky requests:
5) Now that you know what to suggest, here's some general guidelines on what NOT to suggest. Read these carefully, as nominating a topic that is listed here will subject to moderation with karma loss.
- A) "Link" topics will never be stickied. Sure, there's a lot of cool wallpapers, mods, CAW's, and videos around there, but links change constantly. If the topic you wish to nominate is primarily links, be it a dozen or a hundred, don't even bother nominating it.
- B) "Workshop" topics such as "Build my party", "Rate my custom car", "Ask all questions here", "friend codes here", and topics dedicated to unique in-game challenges (no equipment, solo character, etc.) are not good sticky material. They traditionally have no material up front, have ever-changing content, and end up turning into social topics very quickly.
It's like the Forza assholes were able to beg to the mods to sticky their "car pics thread", even though it's CLEARLY against the rules!
And those REAL sticky topics take almost 2 months to get sticky attributes, while these POS topics are immediately stickied!

[/quote] I don't see why friend code stickies or unique challenge stickies would be a bad thing. Oh shit, I forgot, Gaymeguzzlers don't like friends or challenges. About them having no material up front, what GayFag topic HAS material up front? It's mostly a bunch of retarded 'tweens getting their daily troll in. A friend code sticky would have come in handy on the FF3 boards, especially since there were about 20 friend code topics in the first place. I'm thinking they just like their boards to appear busier than they actually are. Oh, and god FORBID the contents of a topic change, or people get social. That's dangerously close to being able to think for ourselves and possibly realize how some people are getting screwed while others can say whatever BS they like without consequence. As for shit being clearly against the rules, what the crap is new? LOL! I've quoted their own rules to them a dozen times in my defense or in accusing DRZ or others of his kind, and it has NEVER worked. We also sort of came here to complain about the giant dumbass horde known as GFAQS.... How can they think a "Ask all question here!" sticky is a bad idea? It keeps the board from being cluttered by the same stupid inane questions every day. All the answers to those questions are there for future reference. They really need to revamp their entire sticky topic system. First off, you can NEVER get a topic stickied because the topic for those requests is never open. Even when it is, it becomes so inundated with every board that needs a topic that it closes ten minutes after opening. They need to keep a sticky request topic open at all times, but they don't. |
