The current gaming plantforms are: Laptop, PS1, PS2 (still have both models), PS3 (at double...) and a PSP, now with online play!! (new games in Red)

1st - Oblivion is the proof I don't like PC games...

2nd - There are a few really bad games I have and that I regret having, but I never sell my games...

3rd - My brothers collection isn't here (he is the one who have NFS, GTA and The Sims games)

I absolutely LOVE Oblivion. Ever since I got my gaming computer in December, I've been playing the hell out of it. I've gone through the main quest with two different characters and my current character is creeping up on level 40. The best part about PC Oblivion is the gigantic modding community. There's so much good stuff out there that you can just keep adding to your game and make it completely different than what the developers intended.

Oblivion is pretty much the only RPG I've ever played extensively, though (other than Pokemon, which doesn't really count). I've never been much interested in others.

As for your wishlist, the only thing I really have experience with is Soul Calibur II. I enjoyed the game quite a bit (actually, it's where my SN came from. I made this SN when I went to GF looking for SCII stuff). However, IMO, it's much more fun if you've got people to play it with. The singleplayer is fine, but the multiplayer is better.

And I've heard good things about Okami. I almost bought it a while ago, but ended up not getting it for one reason or another. And I'm a little out of the loop on PS2 games. I've hardly touched mine since purchasing this here computer in December.

Well my problem isn't actually Oblivion (the game) it's more the fact of being played in a pc, put me Oblivion in other platform (ya, I know it's also in the ps3) and I will play it and enjoy it, it's really a problem between me and playing in a computer, nothing more.

And SCII I have a good experience with the game (Nemesis have the game and I actually finished it), and that wish list for ps2 is also a bit for collection, only a few of them are really games I want to try, so ya I know what you mean about the multiplayer, but that's the problem with all fighting games (but then, Nemesis a player at the same level as I'm in those games, specially at Tekken, so I have someone who can put a good mach against for some fun).

well, the thing is, you show up so infrequently, that we barely notice.

I've never been good at SC. I can play it, and get some basic-intermediate combos off, but that's it. My brother is pretty good.

Me neither, I am waaaaaaay better at Tekken. Oh, and DMC is a epic game, I have to play the first one again.

^ I'm better with Tekken myself, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy other fighting games (and Tekken 6 is taking to long to be released, not to mention that it will be not as great as I was hopping since they will probably need to downgrade the game to be able to put it in a DVD... thanks to the 360 version...)...

Still I have 2 new games (I was really wanting those 2 and well got 1 ASAP and the other at the same time (was out for 3 weeks)...

Persona 3 FES, well other then all the new things add, is still the great Persona 3 it was, just with a lot more...

As for Valkyria Chronicles, well it's something totally different... really most Strategy games are based in some square shaped chess table ground and you can just move in there and give the commands, but in Valkyria you have much more freedom and you can move the characters like you move in a 3rd Person Shooter, you also do the Aiming manually and all that, just in a Turn based system. Hell is really hard to explain, but it's really a great game, and if you guys like strategy games (or probably even Shooters) the better you guys have to do is to get the Demo of this and try it out (AFAIK the demo is only available in the European PSN)

if i should ever get a PS3, I'll check out this "Valkyria Chronicles" game. sounds interesting, to say the least.

Han, you play any poker championship games? I know, booooooring, but they aren't bad, and I've actually gotten passably good (compared to my friends) from playing them. it also helps to be a good math guy.

Poker... no I don't, well in the past I used to play a little bit, but not that much and never liked all that much of it...

And a little new, I got Oblivion for the PS3... well I will only play it next weekend (since I only bought it 1 hour ago...), and let's see if I can enjoy it in the PS3 at least a bit better then in the PC (gameplay wise)... but the bad thing is the Platinum box is even more ugly the most platinum boxes of PS3 games (normally even the Platinum games came in normal boxes, just change the artwork with the Silver layer, but oblivion cames with a Silver box... really ugly...). ya I get a bit bothered with this kind of things in the boxes (the original ones look much better then the Platinum ones, so I try to get the Original always I can, but if I can't then I will take the Platinum one, it may be uglier, but that's not stopping me of getting the games I want)... and the Same will have to happen with Assassins Creed (probably the present I will be giving my brother this Christmas, or other game from his list... since it's still a big list of games that are already out or will be out in november... opposed to mine, since from all the games that are out in Europe until probably February the only game I want is DMC4, but is with a really low priority in my list of things to buy...)

I don't kow how you are with shooters, but CoD4 is a must.Resistance 1/2 are also must haves.

I am playing Black for the PS2 right now an it is quite fun even if it is a little linear for my taste.

Black is awesome. I still play it. it's a little frustrating at times, and the enemies have godly health (I've unloaded entire clips into heads and had them get up) but it IS good. I also see the linearity problems you see.

I simply can't play anything in First Person for some reason, so I'm not a guy of shooters... and I say this because I can't play Oblivion or Killzone (I think they are the only 2 FP games I ever tried to play...), so no, I don't play FPS (not Dirge of Cerberus was actually not that bad for me since I played it almost exclusively in 3rd person and actually DoC is playable in 3rd Person, but Oblivion for sure isn't).

Also I'm probably thinking of doing 1 thing I though I would never do, but it's for a good cause.

Well in some way I don't like to sell my games (and I don't let anyone borrow may games nowadays, with exception of Nemesis...), since I may regret it latter, but I'm thinking seriously of getting rid of Oblivion for the PS3 (it doesn't matter anymore, I simply can't play that game, gameplay wise), and also Death by Degrees (really bad, bad game), GrimGrimoire (I didn't liked it that much), Raging Blades (worst then DbD if possible), Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution (I really didn't liked it, for some reason), The King of Fighters XI (can't enjoy 2D fighters anymore...)

And maybe MTX Mototrax (maybe not, since it's good enough for some change in pace from my usual games), Drakengard 2 (also not sure here, it's a nice action RPG, but since is a lot mission oriented I don't know...).

and I said it was for a good cause, well the cause may be good, but not that noble.... I'm short in money and well I may be able to get my hands in Disgaea 1 and 2 and in Soul Calibur 2 (and I don't know if I may be able to get them latter, so, I probably will get rid of those games, and hope that at least they give me enough for those 5 games to be able to buy at least 1 of the Disgaea and Soul Calibur 2)...

Han, if you don't like the games and, most important, you need the money, just get rid of them.
