Good morning everyone
It is with a deeply saddenned heart that I'll say that my Dad passed away this last Sunday.
Although he had quite an age (he was 72, going 73 on January 8th), he was sick for the last 4 years of his life due to complications related to a prostate surgery.
He will be remembered as a great family man, a loving parent who always cared about his 2 children.
May his soul rest in piece.

I'm sorry for your loss, Nem, but at the same time, I'm happy for you since you seem to have had a great relationship with your dad. You're far luckier than most, in that regard.
I'm much like Graham in that I'm not too good at these things, but I don't envy anyone that is...

If it was me, I would at least be somewhat grateful that he has ended his suffering after four years of sickness. I have no idea if you feel that way, but it is a different way to look at it.
My heart goes out to you, Nem. It's so tough to lose someone that you were close to.

Nightmare: I am. And there's another thing: my Dad, despite being sick for all that time, did not suffer anything at the time of death.
I am happy that he is no longer suffering, and that his death was a peaceful one.

My sincere condolences, I am sorry for your loss. Thanks for all the support guys. Nightmare: I am. My condolences Nem, it's specially sad to lose someone in this time of the year with Christmas approaching. Two of my work colleges had lost their fathers in the past days. It's been a sad week  Much like the others, I am not good at this things, sorry. |
