Here is a place to post your best DM34 times. I think this is appropriate because DM34 is (arguably) the toughest challenge in the entire game. This is a place where you can post your achievement for posterity's sake.

9:12.561 Lead: 0.4XX seconds I must have taken 30 tries to get it. There were three spots where I "cheated" (It must be impossible not to with the NA version). I cut through the grass in Adenauer Forst and I rode the wall around Bergwerk and around the Karussell. After doing this challenge, The Ring is by far my most favorite track. I did it so long ago i can't remember my exact time. I remember though that i was over 6 seconds ahead, in the PAL version after 10 or so tries.

It was tough, but I managed with only 1 grass cut, and that was only because the SL500 was in the way, around Pflanzgarten II. Other than that, I was fairly clean.

I was tidying up some videos and decided to go back and have a look at how I went.
Total time - 9 ' 15 . 908
Won by - 1.143 seconds
Not forgetting this is PAL version which has different start and finish times as well as differently performing SLR's.
Licence test clean run.

9.12.461, also on PAL, won by 5.177 seconds! As a result of hours and hours of free run practice at the ring in the SLR. I just watched the replay i saved, not a clean run by any stretch, a few moments on the grass and one where i even clipped a wall! Fortunately no time penalty  My proudest moment winning this one by so much  |

I won by 6 seconds, I think it was almost 7 seconds away from the 300SL

well i have the NA version, so no By-in by using the PAL *which is far easier*
Have won it once, on my old file, 1 second ahead.
Haven't been able to dial it in on this one yet....
BTW:bets official Real life SLR time I've come across is 7:40.
