Dealers aren't always as nice as the guys nightmare mentioned. in fact, that is definitely the minority.

Yeah, that's true. But when my mom got her 2001 Accord, the dealer in San Diego was pretty cool. Plus, all you can eat doughnuts help win my heart over.

Yeah, the dealers around where I used to live (all three of them, lol) were REALLY nice to the customers. The Ford, Dodge, and Chevy dealers were the only ones in 50 miles. You didn't really buy a car based on what car was the best, you bought based on which dealer was nicest to you. For us, that was always the Dodge dealer. But then we moved to Minnesota and my parents have since owned a Honda, a Chevy, and currently a Subaru. How times change....

Dodge to a Subaru? Interesting... What kind of Subaru, if I may ask?

Nothing wrong with a Scoobie! Those have been notorious for being tough, durable and reliable vehicles, at least in the past. It might not have the low-end torque of a Mopar 318, but it'll still get you there every time.

Nah, it's actually a Tribeca. We had a topic about this a while back when my parents first bought it. It's really nice to ride in, the second row is spacious (can't say the same about the third row, not even sure why they got that), and it's not the biggest gas hog in our driveway (that title goes to my dad's newest Ram).
I would explain my parents' various vehicular escapades to you, but that might require a solid three pages of typing >_____________>

Ah, a B9 Tribeca... I always thought it was a bulbous alien-looking thing the first time around. But the facelift helped quite a bit.

Sorry for the mixup then. Anyway, today there was a microcar meeting near where I live. It was full with cars of the likes of Fiat 500 and BMW Isettas. I'll post the pictures in following days.

They dropped the B9 designation when they facelifted it. My parents definitely got the facelifted one. The previous iteration was ugly.

Oh, that's good. I wasn't sure if they dropped that part of the name or not. Good to know! Upshift for the information.

wish i coulda done this sooner but my bro aint got no pc or internet. anywho on my way up to visit him i saw some sweet cars, unfortunetly i only remember seeing a new GTR on the back of a car hauler on it's way to a dealer and then some lucky ....well u know what. i saw some sweet old muscle as well but can't remember what they were. on a side note i got great mileage on the way back- over 24mpg on one tank and over 25mpg on another. not bad for a truck with a 4.3 V6 and a leadfooted driver. ;D
