I see a lot of old friends here. The archives are great. I see the very early volumes are not to be found. I do have my earliest posts, including the first post, which was killed as off-topic (hmmm) and the post when the diary was allowed to stick after the public humiliation of the gamefaqs mods. If someone wants that word file just leave me an email. I read it now and then for laughs. I continue to play the game and my skills have grown even as my reflexes fade. Best wishes to all.

It's good to see a Diaries legend here. I'm just disappointed that we don't have more activity to show for you here. However, that's something that we have here that we didn't at GF. Instead of either having 500 bumps or a purged volume, we allow it to be here without need of useless posting. It's safer, but I think we might have moved away from potential new 'Ringers.

It is good to see our founder has found the way here.
As he has done, so will others.
At least the diaries are still alive for the true enthusiast to find, they surely would have disappeared from GF due to a greater focus on GT5P.
Once GT5 is released, with the 'Ring in all its glory, we will surely be able to once again provide the best forum for all Nürburgring fanatics.
I strongly recommend anyone who is not familiar with the diaries to at least skim through the Budget rider stories, they will provide a great insight into the camaraderie and joy shared by all those caught up in the spell cast by this most singular of tracks.
Read and enjoy.
